World Environment Day 2026 | Webinar: Act Today, Adapt Tomorrow

To mark World Environment Day 2026, Dnet convened staff and partner organizations—PSUS, JKK, NSS, and Prochesta—for a collective dialogue on climate action, environmental sustainability, and community-led solutions.

The webinar featured an inaugural address by Dnet’s Executive Director Mahmud Hasan, a cultural performance by the Monipuri community of Kamalganj under UN Environment ProgrammeUNEP’s Global Limbo Dance Challenge, and a special reflection on the urgent need for climate resilience and sustainable development.

At its core, the session moved beyond discussion—towards commitment.

Together, Dnet and its partners reaffirmed their shared responsibility to reduce environmental harm, promote sustainable practices, and strengthen community action for climate justice and biodiversity protection.

Act Today, Adapt Tomorrow.
