It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of beloved content creator Karina Kaiser.

She fought a brave battle against severe health complications following a diagnosis of Hepatitis A and E, which ultimately led to liver failure.
The world has truly lost a brilliant light and a beautiful soul. Our deepest thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

Rest in peace, Karina. Your legacy and the joy you brought to so many will never be forgotten. 🕊️

🌐This is the 1st time in the history of Private University in Bangladesh who won this Global Award and will be invited by NASA, USA to visit physically and stay there to share their experience. This is a wonderful opportunity and Daffodil International University proves its efficiency through this global platform NASA and it is an indication of how DIU Science and Technology students are growing up and they lead Bangladesh and uphold the branding image of Bangladesh Flag globally.

🌏This year, 5,327 teams from 162 countries of the world participated in NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022 and after all the verification process, 420 teams of the world received global nominations for the international judging process this year. Ultimately, only 35 teams made it to the "Global Finalists" after all judging processes internationally.

🌀The winning team members are Tisha Khandokar (Team Leader), Md Munim Ahmed (UX Designer), Injamamul Haque Sonet (System Architect), Abu Niaz (Android Developer) from the Department of Software Engineering, DIU and Zarin Chowdhury (Researcher) from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NSU.

🥉 has achieved position among Public & Private Universities and among the Private Universities in Bangladesh.

🌏Daffodil International University (DIU) has achieved a prestigious position in the QS World University Rankings Asia 2023, released on November 8, 2022. Based on its outstanding performance and initiatives, QS has recognized Daffodil International University as one of the top 400 universities (351–400) in Asia among the 760 universities ranked this year. Besides, DIU has been ranked 78th among the universities in Southern Asia.
