Day 2 — In the Sundarbans

As part of the Environmental Science and Management - ESM - NSU ENV215 Ecology course trip organized by Tree Tourism, we ventured toward Jamtola Beach in hopes of sighting the Royal Bengal Tiger and observing wildlife such as wild pigs and monkeys in their natural habitat.
Another day of learning directly from the world’s largest mangrove forest.

Environmental Science and Management - ESM - NSU has enjoyed free lifetime consultation from us since our inception.

As our founders are proud alumni of the ESM department of North South University. it is our privilege to support and help organize the first ESM Sundarbans trip, with gratitude to our faculty and the dedicated organizing committee.

🌿✨ Celebrating 2 Years of Tree Tourism! ✨🌿

It all started with a simple idea — organizing field trips for our Environmental Science courses at North South University. These trips weren’t just academic; they were hands-on learning experiences that brought us closer to nature. 🌱

During these journeys, we observed how students traveled — how they respected their surroundings, kept the environment clean, and truly engaged with nature. That’s when it struck us: if travelers across Bangladesh could explore the country with the same mindset, it could transform the entire concept of tourism. 🌍💚

From that realization, Tree Tourism was born. 🌳
What began as student-led field trips has grown into a movement for sustainable, responsible, and educational tourism.

As we celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we look back with gratitude and forward with hope. Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision and supported us along the way. 🙏🤗🎉
