After consecutive successful events, CCPCRSS is back again with another. Presenting to you all, CCPCRSS BrainStorm’20. Keeping in line with the pedigree of our organization, we have brought to you the biggest online-based contest dedicated solely to the science enthusiasts of our community. In these times of perpetual danger, we are hosting this event online. Now’s your chance to prove yourself! So fire up your neurons and get your creative juice flowing!

Intending to unearth and uphold the scientific minds of our community, this event comprises 6 amazing science regarding segments.

 Science Olympiad:

The most exciting Olympiad for the science enthusiasts out there! A purely intellectual Olympiad which would test the thinking capability of the participants and ignite their problem-solving skills. The Olympiad will be held on Google form, we’ll provide the question link on the event page at the scheduled time.
Questions will be from the following subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
Categories:
a) Junior (Class: 6,7,8)
b) Secondary (Class: 9,10, SSC’20)
c) Higher Secondary (Class: HSC’20, HSC’21)

 Math Olympiad:

The most charming event for the mathletes! Show your problem solving and pattern finding skills and get the chance to prove yourself! The Olympiad will be held on Google form, we’ll provide the question link on the event page at the scheduled time.
Categories:
a) Junior (Class: 6,7,8)
b) Secondary (Class: 9,10, SSC’20)
c) Higher Secondary (Class: HSC’20, HSC’21)

 Astronomy Olympiad:

In the recent age of scientific advancement, Astronomy is undoubtedly a promising field. To encourage the participants to develop an interest in this field is the sole purpose of this Olympiad. The Olympiad will be held on Google form, we’ll provide the question link on the event page at the scheduled time.
Categories:
a) Junior (Class: 6,7,8)
b) Secondary (Class: 9,10, SSC’20)
c) Higher Secondary (Class: HSC’20, HSC’21)

 Crisis Management:

An event that would introduce a problem to the participants and in return the participants have to use their problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking to solve the problem. The participant with the most creative and efficient approach wins. The participants will receive a participation certificate each!
Categories:
a) Category A: (Class: 6,7,8,9, 10, SSC’20)
b) Category B: (Class: HSC’21, HSC’20)
Rules:
a) The participants will be provided the case on a certain date and they need to submit their solutions within 1 week.
b) Their solution must not be copied from anywhere.

b) The solutions must be either in Microsoft Word format or PDF format.
c) You can send us your entries at [email protected]
d) You must mention “Crisis Management” at the subject of mailing,
e) Your mail should include your name, class, institution, and contact number.

 Science Fiction Composing:

The participant will have to submit a creative science fiction within 800-3000 words, and the best three of these will be declared the winner. It’s an amazing platform to share your scientific thoughts & imaginations with everyone easily. The participants will all receive a certificate of participation!
Category:
- Open for all categories
Rules:
- The story must be within 800-3000 words
- It should have a unique title
- You have to send in either Microsoft Word format or in Pdf format.
- Copied submissions will be banned immediately
- Your Story has to be either in Bangla or English
Submission:

- You must mention “Science fiction Composing” at the subject of mailing,
- Your science fiction story should have a unique title, your name, class, institution, contact number.

 Scientific Artwork:

The most colorful segment of this event. The participants will have to present a piece of art that will represent science in its true form. The topic must be: “How do you see Bangladesh in 2050”. You must give a caption to your art. The more creative the concept behind the artwork is, the more it will gain preference. It can be either digital or traditional artwork. The best three artworks will be featured on our official page and will be declared the winners. Besides, all the participants will achieve a certificate of participation!

Rules:
- You must give a unique Caption to your artwork.
- The artwork must be relevant to the topic.
- You have to send your art in .jpeg format or in .png format.
- Copied submissions will be banned immediately
- Your artwork can be either digital or traditional.

- You must mention “Scientific Artwork” at the subject of mailing,
- Your email should contain a unique caption, your name, class, institution, contact number.

Registration Fee:
- Free
(We believe that science is for everyone and keeping a registration fee for keeping it bounded for a certain group should not be considered in these times of pandemic)

Submission Process:
▪ In case of the submission based categories, you need to submit the projects within the
deadline. The submissions of-
• Crisis Management
• Science Fiction Writing
• Scientific Artwork
will be live in due time. Then after completing your projects, you would require to submit it via email, [email protected] (The rules of submission have been described in the details of the particular segment)

NB:
▪ We hold the right to change any event rules in case of any necessity.
▪ Without registration, if you take Olympiads or Submit projects of other projects you will not be granted
the recognition in any means. You will be considered disqualified and hence would not receive any
award Certificate.
