এ বিষয়ে ইস্পাহানি ইসলামিয়া চক্ষু ইনস্টিটিউট ও হাসপাতালের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ও কনসালট্যান্ট ডা. মোমিনুল ইসলাম জানান, চোখের যত্ন ও সুরক্ষায় চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ ছাড়া ড্রপ অনেকে ব্যবহার করেন। বাজারে কিছু ড্রপ রয়েছে যেগুলো সবসময় ব্যবহার করা যায়। তারপরও সবার জন্য তা সহনশীল নাও হতে পারে। এও মনে রাখতে হবে, অনেকে নিজে যে ড্রপ ব্যবহার করেন সেটিই অন্যকে সাজেস্ট করেন। তাদের ধারণা এই ড্রপ অন্য কাউকে সাজেস্ট করলেও ভালো ফলাফল পাওয়া যাবে। ধারণাটি ভুল। চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ ছাড়া কখনই ড্রপ কেনা উচিত নয়।
