🌍 World Environment Day 2026
Climate action is most powerful when communities come together to protect and restore nature.
This photograph captures a mangrove restoration initiative in Sri Lanka under the Climate Action Champions Network (CACN), a regional platform co-led by GenLab to empower young climate leaders and foster collaborative action across South Asia.
Mangroves are among nature's most effective climate solutions—strengthening coastal resilience, supporting biodiversity, and capturing carbon. Every sapling planted today is an investment in a more sustainable and climate-resilient future.
As we mark World Environment Day 2026 under the theme Climate Action and the global campaign , we are reminded that meaningful change begins with collective action, local leadership, and a shared commitment to our planet.
🌱 Act Now. Act Together.
