A total of 100 companies from Japan will invest $1 billion on the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Araihazar Upazila in Narayanganj, said Ito Naoki, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh.

Blockchain-based platform Poly Network, which was a target of one of the biggest cryptocurrency thefts, has asked the hacker responsible to become its chief security adviser. Earlier, the company offered the hacker, who stole cryptocurrencies worth $613 million, a $500,000 "bug bounty" and said he won't be held legally responsible. The hacker has returned most of the stolen funds.
