এই মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধে সাহস আর দিকনির্দেশনা দিয়েছিলেন শহীদ রাষ্ট্রপতি মেজর জেনারেল জিয়াউর রহমান,
যিনি স্বাধীনতার ঘোষণা দিয়ে সমগ্র জাতিকে লড়াইয়ের জন্য আহ্বান জানান।

আজ আমরা স্বাধীন—কিন্তু স্বাধীনতার প্রকৃত মূল্য রক্ষা করাই আমাদের সবচেয়ে বড় দায়িত্ব।
আসুন, আমরা দেশকে ভালোবাসি, দেশের জন্য কাজ করি, দেশের মর্যাদা অটুট রাখি।

শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগ কখনোই বৃথা যেতে দেওয়া যাবে না।
তাদের ঋণ আমাদের চিরদিন বহন করতে হবে।

১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে মাতৃভাষা বাংলার মর্যাদা রক্ষায় জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন বীর ভাষা শহীদরা। তাঁদের আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আমরা পেয়েছি স্বাধীনভাবে বাংলা ভাষায় কথা বলার অধিকার।

UNESCO ১৯৯৯ সালে ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারিকে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দেয়—যা আমাদের জাতির জন্য এক অনন্য গৌরব।

ভাষা আমাদের পরিচয়, সংস্কৃতি ও আত্মমর্যাদার প্রতীক।
এই মহান দিনে আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করছি সকল ভাষা শহীদদের।

🧠 History of RD RAM (RDRAM – Rambus DRAM).

📌 Early–Mid 1990s – Development

Developed by Rambus Inc.
Designed to provide very high-speed data transfer
Used a serial memory architecture, different from traditional SDRAM

🚀 1999–2001 – Intel Partnership & Peak Time

Intel adopted RDRAM for Pentium 4 processors
Used in chipsets like i820 and i850
Common versions: PC600, PC700, PC800
Example: PC800 RDRAM delivered 3.2 GB/s bandwidth, which was impressive at the time
At this stage, RDRAM was considered the future of high-performance memory.

🔥 Technical Characteristics

High clock speeds (600–800 MHz effective)
Required all motherboard memory slots to be filled
Empty slots needed special modules called C-RIMM
Generated more heat → used aluminum heat spreaders
Higher latency compared to SDRAM

💰 Problems Begin

Very expensive compared to SDRAM
Licensing and patent fees increased cost
Complex motherboard design
Compatibility limitations

⚔️ 2000–2003 – DDR Takes Over

DDR SDRAM entered the market

Offered:
Lower cost
Lower latency
Easier motherboard design
Competitive performance
Manufacturers quickly shifted to DDR.

🛑 2003–2004 – Decline

Intel stopped pushing RDRAM
DDR became the industry standard
RDRAM gradually disappeared from mainstream PCs

🧠 History of SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic RAM)

🔹 Early 1990s
Before SDRAM, computers used asynchronous DRAM, which couldn’t keep pace with faster CPUs.

🔹 1993–1995: Birth of SDRAM
SDRAM was introduced to work in sync with the CPU clock, improving speed and efficiency.
Common speeds: PC66, PC100, PC133

🔹 1996–1999: Golden Era
SDRAM became the standard memory for Pentium II & III systems.
Used 168-pin DIMM and ran at 3.3V.

🔹 2000: The Turning Point
Single data transfer per clock cycle limited performance.
👉 DDR SDRAM arrived, offering double data rate and better scalability.

🔹 2001–2005: Decline
DDR replaced SDRAM in mainstream PCs.
SDRAM slowly phased out.

🔹 Today
SDRAM is obsolete for modern computers, but still found in some legacy and industrial systems.

🧠 History of Single In-line Memory Module (SIMM) – From Start to End

1980s – The Beginning
Before SIMM, computers used individual RAM chips soldered directly to the motherboard. Upgrading memory was difficult, expensive, and prone to errors.
✅ Solution: SIMM (Single In-line Memory Module) — a small circuit board with RAM chips that plugged into a socket.

Late 1980s – 30-pin SIMM

Pins: 30

Data Width: 8 bits per module

Capacity: 256 KB – 4 MB

Used in: IBM PC/AT, 286, 386 systems

Note: To match the CPU’s 16-bit data width, 2 modules were installed together.

Early 1990s – 72-pin SIMM

Pins: 72

Data Width: 32 bits per module

Capacity: 1 MB – 128 MB

Used in: 486 PCs, early Pentium systems

Note: Often installed in pairs for 64-bit CPU data width; supported FPM and EDO RAM.

Mid 1990s – Peak & Limitations

CPUs moved to 64-bit memory paths; SIMMs became less efficient.

Speed Limits: FPM (~33–40 MHz), EDO (~50–66 MHz)

Capacity Limits: Max 128 MB per module

Upgrading memory in high-end PCs became challenging.

Late 1990s – End of Life (EOL)

Replacement: DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Module)

64-bit data width

Faster speeds (SDR SDRAM → DDR)

Larger capacities

SIMMs became obsolete; no new motherboards supported them.

By 1998–2000, SIMMs were completely phased out from mainstream PCs.
