Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) has published a detailed feature tracing the arc of that journey. From MBM's 2005 Effluent Treatment Plant installation, to the 2015 on-site washing unit built with sustainability embedded at the design stage, to the February 2026 launch of MBM's inaugural Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. Aligned with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and structured through a double materiality framework, the report marks a formal transition: from implicit practice to explicit, comparable disclosure.

According to United Nations, roughly 2.4 billion females worldwide still lack equal legal protections, and closing that gap requires action far beyond legislation. It starts with the people closest to them.

At MBM Group, we believe that a woman's right to lead and thrive is most powerful when it is understood, and championed, by those who walk home with her. 🤝

On Sunday, 8th March, this year’s International Women's Day🌍, in alignment with the UN Women theme, Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls., we brought a structured awareness campaign on women's rights and access to justice, to every one of our business units.

Our female associates didn't attend alone. We invited their partners to join the same session and learn about MBM's commitment to women's safety and wellbeing🛡️. We wanted their partners to witness it firsthand: that their wives walk into an inclusive workplace where their voice carries exactly as far as any man's 📢, where fairness isn't a promise on paper but a practice on the floor.

When a husband understands his wife's rights at work, he becomes part of the solution. Rights are declared in policy. Justice is built at home.🏠✨

On this International Women's Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere.

The launch event, held at our Design Studio in Gazipur, brought together valued clients, sustainability partners, and strategic stakeholders, including representatives from Levi Strauss & Co., OVS, HSBC, BRAC Bank, and JCPenney, who continue to support our sustainable transformation. 🤝

As we advance toward 2030, we remain committed to climate action, inclusive growth, and continuous improvement that drives meaningful impact. 🌍
