Studio 6B | THE CURATED EDIT

THE ARTIST
“Innerself” (From the 'Margin of Memories' Series)
Mixed Media on Canvas | 2025
Dhaka, Bangladesh
In our latest acquisition from the burgeoning contemporary scene in Dhaka, Studio 6B is proud to feature a startlingly visceral voice in South Asian surrealism. Currently refining their practice at the historic Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka, The Artist has emerged as a master of the emotive internal landscape.
This particular work serves as a masterclass in the "tension between emotion and existence." The Artist moves beyond traditional portraiture, using the human face as a site of architectural struggle. The composition is anchored by a raw, carnal palette, but it is the meticulous, physical "stitching" across the eyes and lips that transforms the canvas. These threads serve as a silent, structural metaphor for the suffocation of the unspoken—a physical manifestation of the memories that cling to the margins of our consciousness.
To stand before this work is to be observed as much as you observe. The subjects do not merely exist; they endure. As the global market turns its gaze toward the stars of the East, this piece represents a pivotal moment to collect The Artist at the precipice of an international trajectory.

Provenance:
Exhibited at the Margin of Memories Catalog Studio. Acquired directly from the Artist’s Studio.

A curated selection of original is now for acquisition. Each work carries its own temperament — some contemplative, some restless, some quietly luminous. These are not decorative fillers; they are living presences meant to inhabit space with character and conviction.

If you have been searching for a piece that does more than merely “match” an — something that converses with it — this may be the moment.

Serious inquiries are welcome.
Art, after all, finds its owner as much as the owner finds the art.
