যারা পাতা বেশি ভালবাসেন, বাসায় রোদ আসেনা তেমন তবুও ঝোপালো সবুজ গাছ চান তাদের জন্য পারফেক্ট একটা গাছ।

মাটিঃ
যেকোন ঝুরঝুরে মাটি বা কোকোপিটে লাগাতে পারবেন।সাথে গোবর সার বা ভার্মি, আপনার যেটা পছন্দ দিতে পারেন।আর টবের সাইজ একটু বড় নির্বাচন করাই উচিত, কারণ অল্পদিনেই অনেক জায়গা দখল করে এই গাছ।আর টবের নিচের দিকে ড্রেইনেজ ভাল রাখার জন্য ইটের টুকরা দিতে ভুলবেন না যেন।

পানিঃ
ভাল গ্রোথ পেতে এই গাছে প্রতিদিন পানি দিতে হবে।তবে শীতকালে কম পানি দিবেন। যদি ৭-১০ দিন পানি না দিতে পারেন তাহলে কি সমস্যা হবে?না সমস্যা নেই।মরবে না।

আলোঃ
একেবারে কড়া রোদে রাখা যাবেনা।পাতা পুড়ে যাবে। অনেক আলো আসে এমন জায়গায় গ্রোথ ভাল থাকবে।তবে অল্প আলোতেও এই গাছ বেঁচে থাকে।

প্রোপাগেশনঃ
খুব সহজেই চারা করা যায়।গাছের গোড়া থেকেই নতুন চারা হয়।লিফ নোডের নিচ থেকে ডাল কেটে মাটিতে বা পানিতে রাখলেও শিকড় এসে যাবে।কাটা ডালটি কয়েকদিন খোলা জায়গায় ফেলে রেখে পটিং করলে ভালভাবে শিকড় আসবে।

ZZ Plant(Zamioculcas zamiifolia/Zanzibar zem)

This is a plant that thrives on neglect and is a great choice for people who occasionally forget to water, or for the office. Indirect bright light is ideal for a ZZ, but they are also content in low light situations and in direct light, making it a foolproof indoor plant.

ZZ’s like to dry out completely between waterings. you shouldn't water this plant until its soil has become dry throughout the pot. In low light environments or winter, this can mean watering as infrequently as once a month.

Rotate your plant periodically to ensure even growth on all sides and dust the leaves often so the plant can photosynthesize efficiently.

Overwatering results in mushy brown stalks and yellowing of the leaves. Dropping leaves can also be an indication of overwatering.
Underwatering results in dry crispy tips on the plant's leaves.

Typically you want to choose a potting vessel 1”- 2” larger in diameter to allow for growth. Don’t choose a pot much larger than the previous as this could drown the plant's roots.

Spring or summer is the ideal time to repot as the plant is at its strongest.
