হাইকোর্ট বিভাগে সর্বশেষ ২৫ জন বিচারপতি নিয়োগসহ বর্তমানে বিচারপতি সংখ্যা ১১৩ জন। এর মধ্যে ইন্টেরিম সরকার মোট ৪৮ জন বিচারপতি নিয়োগ দিয়েছে। সে হিসাবে হাইকোর্ট বিভাগের পূর্ববর্তী বিচারপতি ছিলেন ৬৫ জন।

গত ৮ অক্টোবর,২০২৪ রোজ মঙ্গলবার সুপ্রিম কোর্টের হাইকোর্ট বিভাগে রাষ্ট্রপতি গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের সংবিধানের ৯৮ অনুচ্ছেদে প্রদত্ত ক্ষমতাবলে ২৩ জন ব্যক্তিকে শপথ গ্রহণের তারিখ থেকে অনধিক দুই বছরের জন্য বাংলাদেশ সুপ্রিম কোর্ট, হাইকোর্ট বিভাগের অতিরিক্ত বিচারক নিয়োগদান করেছেন।

Appointment of 25 New Additional Judges to the High Court Division

The Honourable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, in consultation with the Honourable Chief Justice, has appointed 25 distinguished individuals as Additional Judges of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh under Article 95(1) and Article 98 of the Constitution of Bangladesh.

These appointments will be effective from the date of oath-taking and will remain valid for a period not exceeding two (2) years.

These appointments will significantly strengthen the High Court Division by bringing together experienced advocates, distinguished judicial officers, and senior legal experts.

I don’t trust verdicts from a politically influenced court.

Cases against Khaleda Zia, Tarique Rahman, Babar, Sayeedi, Nizami, and Salauddin Quader Chowdhury lacked fairness and due process.

It’s an open secret. if they were truly war criminals, then why wasn’t the trial process fair?

From the Skype scandal to the Sukhranjan Bali abduction case, multiple incidents prove that the proceedings lacked transparency and justice.

Labeling them as war criminals after the Supreme Court’s observation in ATM Azharul Islam’s appeal amounts to contempt of court.

These were not justice, they were judicial killings.

I stand with the oppressed, not the powerful.

If speaking the truth is contempt, anyone may file a petition against me.

Exemptions apply to:
✅ Taxpayers aged 65+
✅ Physically disabled/special needs
✅ Living abroad
✅ Living in areas without internet

📢 Public Holiday Notice

Tuesday, 5th August 2025 has been declared a general holiday in observance of "July Mass Uprising Day" (জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থান দিবস).

All subordinate courts and tribunals across Bangladesh will remain closed on this day as per government order and under the direction of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of Bangladesh.
