Great first show from Cloud Collector, featuring a bunch of veterans of the 2000s East Bay scene that was super formative for our music journey. Great to see a bunch of familiar faces in the same room for the first time in years. Check out their EP that came out a few weeks ago, it’s real good.
Also caught the second half of Sight Unscene's set, which also ruled. And props to the bassist for pulling double duty.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Tom Berg, a driving force behind the unique music of self-evident, co-founder and owner of Falling Knife Brewing Company, and by all accounts a really good dude. Highly recommend a deep dive into self-evident's catalogue, been revisiting it all day over here.

Was stoked to contribute a couple of cameras to documenting the first The Postman Syndrome show in almost two decades last summer. Go follow them on all the socials for the full video, coming out next week, and maybe some other stuff.
The Postman Syndrome - "Schizorabbit and the Face Parade" from the 2023 Reunion Show The Postman Syndrome's reunion show for the 20th anniversary of their first album, Terraforming - live at Crossroads in Garwood, NJ on June 17, 2023. This is...
A divisive band among those who founded SBP. But those people don’t run the socials so we’re gonna plug the hell out of this.

Tangentially related to the previous post. When it rains it pours with those guys.
This was a special one. The Postman Syndrome (current and former members of East of the Wall, Revocation, NY in 64, Day Without Dawn and a bunch of other great bands) played their first show since 2005 earlier this summer. The one-off reunion was to celebrate the rerelease of their debut album, Terraforming, which recently got an excellent remix by Scott Evans and remaster by Brad Boatright. Bought a ticket for a show on the other side of the country as soon as news broke that it was happening. Absolutely worth the trip considering I never got to see them when they were still an active band, and was blown away by how tight they were live after nearly 20 years.
Support by VSSLS, Chemtrail, and So Hideous, who were all amazing.
