One year ago, I made one of the scariest decisions of my career. After eight years with a company I was comfortable with, I chose to bet on myself and officially launch Hopeless Nomadic Travel.

There were a lot of unknowns. A lot of late nights. And a whole lot of support from the most incredible clients.

Today, I received notice that in just one year, I’ve hit a personal goal I quietly set for myself — to grow my business enough to give myself a 15% raise. As a small business owner, that feels really big.

But here’s the truth: this isn’t just about me.
