And that’s a wrap ! 2026 season final at Dargle.
Plenty of learning for our crew this year, lots of highs and lots of lows.
We missed most of this season and jumped back onboard at Yarrawonga and settled in quickly.

This weekend started very well, testing went well and straight into qualifying 4th out of 17 boats which gave us a great start position for the heat races.

We started well and were looking good for a top 3 finish in our heat race and that was where our luck ran out, we battled engine issues the rest of the weekend.

We did an engine swap Saturday, big thanks to Darren for lending us a complete motor to keep us running and ended up putting a big hole in the side of the block in the Len Sheltrum championship race which was the end of our weekend.

Can’t thank my family and my team enough for our first season in the tunnel, we have all learnt a lot and I couldn’t have done any of it without you.
Thank you to Happy, Stephen, Joshua, Amber, Gabi and all the boys that helped along the way this weekend and a big thank you to Darren, Blake and Lochie.

Now time for abit of a reset and get the boat ready for next season !

Thank you to our sponsors for your support all year round:

🔥 DRIVER SPOTLIGHT – MATTHEW JORDAN | INDECISIVE RACING 🔥

Matthew Jordan from Indecisive Racing is another driver to watch as we head into the FINAL ROUND at the Dargle Winter Spectacular.

Matt joined us at Round 1 in Rathmines, but unfortunately an injury outside of boat racing saw him sidelined for much of the season. It was a tough setback, keeping him away from the water and out of the action.

Making his return at Yarrawonga, Matt showed promising signs straight away, proving he hasn’t lost his touch and still has plenty of potential to bring to the field.

Heading into Dargle, Matt will be looking to build on that momentum and get more valuable time on the water as he settles back into competition.

Keep an eye on Indecisive Racing — there’s definitely more to come from this team. 🔥🚤

What a weekend for Indecisive Racing Team down at the E.C Griffith Cup! 🙌

The new setup proved itself straight away, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. Matt put in a solid qualifying run on Saturday, landing us mid-pack for Heat 1. From there, it was a great run especially after being off the water for 6 months.

Sunday brought a bit of chaos in Heat 2, with a full-on race to the top turn buoy and plenty of carnage, but we kept it together and still managed to put in a strong effort.

Come finals time, everything clicked. We had a great run and brought it home in 8th overall a result we’re proud of after a big weekend of racing. The boat handled beautifully all weekend, and Matt did an awesome job behind the wheel.

Huge thanks to our crew Darren Hitchcock, Happy Chittick & Bailey Cropper for all your hard work over the weekend. From comms to launching and keeping everything race-ready, we couldn’t have done it without you guys. A special thank you to our support crew who cheer us on from the sidelines near and far we could not do this without your support every race !

And of course, a massive shoutout to our sponsors your support means everything:

The crew arrived late last night at Yarrawonga for the E.C Griffith Cup.

Team Indecisive are keen for a great weekend ahead, hopefully the wind can settle down a little and we can get some laps in today.

We are back out on the starting grid and excited to rip in and race 🏁

Over the past 6 months Matt has been recovering from shoulder surgery, but that hasn’t stopped him and the team from working on the boat.
We have made a couple changes to our set up and are keen to get back out there and see how we can go in our first hit out back.

See you all Friday !!

Team Indecisive Racing #882 completed their debut race weekend at Rathmines with driver Matthew Jordan taking the helm.
We asked Matt a few questions to wrap up his weekend...

1-WHAT WAS YOUR STAND OUT MOMENT OF THE WEEKEND?
The stand out moment for me would have to be having my family and my pit crew all together all weekend it was awesome to learn together while also having that family support.

2-WHAT DID YOU STRUGGLE WITH THE MOST?
The one thing I would say I struggled with was reading the water conditions through a windscreen, it’s a concept that’s very different coming out of ski racing boats or even skiing.

3-WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU THOUGHT WOULD BE HARD BUT WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY EASY?
Before the weekend I had not driven my boat next to another boat let alone 13 at the same time, that’s what I thought was going to be the most difficult part, but it turned out to be pretty easy.

4-HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE INTENSITY FROM 1-10?
I would rate the intensity at 7/10. I really needed to be focused on where I positioned my boat and also concentrate on positive coms as-well. But also having enough time to do my thing and really enjoy myself.

5-WHAT WILL YOU CHANGE FOR YOU OR YOUR TEAM NEXT ROUND?
We learnt a lot in 1 weekend of racing. The biggest thing we will change is have a few more parts available to us for if/when something goes wrong and it could be quite a simple fix.
