Malware, ransomware, security concerns, viruses!!! We are receiving a lot of calls as of late with computers being taken over, locked or personal information and passwords being jeopardised. Nobody ever calls from Telstra or Microsoft saying you need to fix licensing or give remote access or they need remote access to your modem. Simple quiz questions, math queries or favourite colours on Facebook are usually a stomping ground for hackers to steal your information or impersonate your account. These are all scams! No virus or security software are 100% fail safe, usually the best defence is YOU, the sites you visit or the links you click or the phone calls you believe. Please be safe and always use common sense to ensure your digital safety.
