30years ago I walked into a blacksmiths forge and instantly knew id found what i was meant to do. Nothings changed
Willunga Forge is the realisation of a dream that has been developing for over 25 years. Here i can create, display and teach the craft that has held me spellbound ever since i started. With the dedicated Willunga Forge page i hope to be able share all thats going on at the forge including new things ive made and details of the classes that are about to start.

Here’s probably the last set of big gates to roll of the forge. After 37 years it’s time to give the big things a miss.
The clients had a pair of gates for a single driveway which they wanted to turn into a circular driveway.

Hi folks. It’s been a while so I thought I’d let you know what I’m up to. Because I miss being part of the action since closing the forge I’ve decided to do something about it.
I’ve joined the Willunga Artists Collective and am having my introductory day today. I’m only there this afternoon from two as I learn the ropes and get my display organised but it would be great to see you and to share the timber sculptures that I’ve be doing.
With over 40 artists displaying their work there is bound to be something to catch your eye.

So my last reel got over 10,000 views and 500 likes which is a bit of a record so thank you all very much.
I’ve got 4 jobs from it and here’s the first one.

I installed these 2 handrails yesterday. Because the body doesn’t do what the imagination wants too I assembled it on site from two handrails , 7 posts and 8 vines sections. Takes times but the client loved them.
