Sarah Porter is a qualified Naturopath after having studied at the Southern School of Natural Therapies. Sarah knows the importance of providing health goals to her clients and truly understands that "your health is your wealth." Sarah has recently moved back to Warrnambool from her practice in Melbourne and is available for consultation, at Hider Health & Vitality in Warrnambool. Merry Christmas + Happy New Year to you all!! I am so grateful to everyone who has supported my business (+ family) in 2024. Couples on their fertility journey, women + children's health, pregnancy, menopause...and beyond - I am so lucky to work alongside you on your health journey, thank you ❤️  

Louis is off to school this year 😭 so my working days will be changing slightly to enjoy Wednesdays with him. If you can't find a suitable time online, please get in touch. I am super excited to see the magic that is created at Ryot street in 2025 🌿

Lunch today, super easy and delish.

I sautéed some broccoli, asparagus, and zucchini in butter. After a few minutes, when the veggies were tender, I added 2 eggs and scrambled them up. Once the eggs were cooked, I plopped them onto a plate. Then, I seared some halloumi on each side and added it to the plate. A sprinkle of herbamare later, and I am ready to take on the afternoon's basketball and cricket training!

Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy! 👌🏼

Would make a great breaky too. Or easy dinner?!

✨making magic with herbal medicine🌿

Friday’s prescriptions were focused on:
*acute immune support - URTI
*post viral fatigue + ongoing immune support
*supporting healthy ovarian function
*menopausal symptom support

The beauty of herbal medicine? It is tailored to each and every individual patient 🙌🏼 No two mixes are ever the same. We can fit so much magic in each herbal formula.
They don’t taste great 😅 but once you feel the benefits, you quickly forget that 😉

If only you could smell this 🤤

Digestion begins when we’re preparing a meal.
Salivation, digestive secretions being excreted, food is on its way + our body is preparing for it. Ready to digest, process and absorb the nutrients.

“Yummmmm what’s for tea?”
“I can’t wait, I’m so hungry”
The digestive process starts for everyone when they can smell what’s coming.

This is another family fav (especially Josh’s).
It’s our take on the creamy lemon butter chicken 🍋

Our mods:
*add plenty of veggies - broccoli, carrot, beans, zucchini, asparagus, capsicum, tomatoes… it’s very versatile
*double the spinach
*can’t have too much paprika
*extra lemon juice if you’re that way inclined
*always make enough for leftovers

Easy peanut stir fry - always a winner at our place 🤤 🙌🏼
It’s a good one when time is limited
~
Brown some onion and garlic
Add chicken + cook through
Add veggies - we were limited 🥴 overdue for a shop
Eg. Broccoli, zucchini, beans, carrot, capsicum

1-2 x tablespoons of peanut butter
1 x tablespoon of honey
1 x tablespoon of tamari
1 x tin coconut milk
Serve on rice

A cold Sunday arvo, called for nutritious, wholesome cooking = vego ramen on the menu 👌🏼

Our littlest man has been struck down with a virus the last couple of days so we’re doing all the things to keep the rest of us well. Shiitake + enoki mushrooms, silken tofu, gut loving broth, added veg + home laid eggs.

Tuesday nights are swimming nights at our place 🏊‍♂️ so we always opt for an easy tea. Roast veggies, steamed beans and carrots🥕 with a side of protein… tonight is lamb 👌🏼
