Welcome to Day Two

Ten years since our first winner from our first runner out of the new training base at Warrnambool…

We had a very special visitor today.
One of Santa’s reindeer suffered a hoof abscess early in the trip and he stopped off to borrow one of our fastest horses to continue his journey
We treated the reindeer’s hoof and he is able to travel back to the North Pole with Santa 🎅🏻

Santa getting an early start to his long trip around the world…

Another winner came out of the stable today…

Congratulations to Makayla who competed in the 5km run at the Melbourne Marathon event today finishing with the fastest time in the female 20-24 age bracket with a sub 20 minute time
Well done Mak we are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Mak’s mum and dad Mick and Sharron who competed in the full marathon
What a family!

MONDAY MEME

Here’s one we can all relate to…

It’s been a long time between runners for us but Feargal was our first runner for 3 months today.
And he didn’t disappoint us.
Not expected to win having had 7 first-up starts for 7 unplaced results we were expecting a nice solid first-up performance.
Feargal however, as is his way, had other ideas.
Given a lovely ride by jockey Tayla Childs he jumped straight to the front and despite being headed in the straight, fought back to win by half a length.
Feargal has now won five times from 44 starts
