Did you know that Rug Washing has been around for centuries?
We use a process call Full Immersion Washing. As the name suggests, this means your rug is washed when it's fully saturated. We use professional cleaning detergents that we have helped create specifically for rug washing!
Your rug gets thoroughly rinsed at multiple stages to flush out contaminations, soiling and our cleaning agents (lots of rinsing and repetition here!).
Our rug centrifuge then spins out 95% of the moisture, and your rug is ready for drying in our climate-controlled drying room. At a toasty 35 degrees, it's not a bad place to be on a gloomy day.
With time and advancements in technology, we can clean rugs more efficiently & effectively than ever before, but the core process remains the same as it always has been.

We've been asked a lot lately if we will be adding a 'fuel surcharge' for pickup and delivery during the fuel crisis. The simple answer is... Heck no! 🙅♀️
Our delivery van is 100% electric and powered completely by solar generated at our wash facility in Breakwater. You can rest assured there will be no 'fuel surcharges' when you book with Geelong Rug Spa!

Geelong Rug Spa will be closed from Friday the 13th to Sunday the 22nd of March while we are away on a cruise. 🛳️🏝️
Unfortunately, this means we will be unable to respond to calls & texts during this time. 📵

Feeling the heat already? So are we! 🥵🥵
Due to today's extreme weather forecast, our wash facility at 3/83 Tucker Street Breakwater will be closed. We are still working today, just from somewhere a bit cooler! 😎🥶
We will reopen tomorrow, Thursday the 8th.

It was certainly a labour of love to make this giant bow, the ornament garland and install the lighting to showcase Geelong Rug Spa the gift it truly is to us.
