Network 10 and Screen Australia today debut First Facts: First Nations Factual Showcase collection, now available on 10 Streaming ๐ฌ Speaking about the six films, Screen Australia Head of First Nations Content Gillian Moody-Ardler said "The First Facts documentaries celebrate the richness of First Nations culture and exciting voices of Indigenous storytellers. Our collaboration with Network 10 provides audiences across the country the opportunity to engage with stories presenting a unique intersection of contemporary life and multifaceted traditional practices reflective of the ongoing connections to people and place across Country."

Three original Australian childrenโs series will soon be released on YouTube (Made For Kids) supported by Kids IP Incubator, a Screen Australia and Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF) initiative to develop Australian IP for childrenโs programs on digital platforms ๐ The projects, Worm Diner, Pit Pats and Magic Monkey Mayhem, will launch their YouTube channel in the coming weeks ๐

Screen Australia's First Nations Department has today opened applications for the First Nations Factual Co-production Development Fund ๐ฌ๐ Created in partnership with Screen Canberra, Screen NSW, Screen Queensland, Screen Tasmania, Screen Territory, Screenwest, South Australian Film Corporation and VicScreen, this new national program is designed to strengthen and elevate First Nations screen businesses in international markets.
Applications are open now and close Thursday 4 June 2026.
