We’ve had a bit of a sad week over here in the Bad Crow household. On Monday we had to say our goodbyes with one of the best coworkers a girl could have (although very loud when it came to sirens), Dexter. 🖤❤️‍🩹

We had the exceptional luck of having Dexter in our lives for 12 years, and if you swipe, you can see just how young I was when we first got him. Our house is emptier this week, and Piper and Walter are missing their brother.

I’m still working and carrying on - so if you need a good reason or any to get some design work done, I could use the mental distraction at the moment. 🖤

While we all know AI is something we need to embrace - and it can absolutely be a helpful tool, are you making sure your marketing agency isn’t using AI to write all of your posts? 👀

Here’s a few ways to spot AI-written content:

• Every caption sounds overly polished or robotic
• Random emojis everywhere for no reason ✨🚀💡💅❄️
• Long-winded sentences that say… not much
• Generic wording that could apply to literally any business
• No real personality, local knowledge or brand tone
• Repetitive phrases like “elevate”, “unlock”, “game-changer” or “in today’s fast-paced world” 👀

AI can absolutely help with ideas, structure and efficiency, I use it too. But it’s never going to fully understand your customers, your humour, your team, or the way your brand actually speaks.

That’s why good marketing still needs real people behind it. Strategy, personality and brand voice can’t just be copied and pasted.

Make sure your agency is actually working with AI… not replacing your brand with it.
