Staff from GFG Projects recently took some time to visit Queensland Fire Department stations across Toowoomba, delivering a few sweet treats and thanking local firefighters for the work they do to keep our community safe.
At the East Toowoomba station, the alarms sounded as we arrived and the crew was called into action - a timely reminder of the important role our first responders play every day. We were fortunate to spend some time with Superintendent Kent Barron and learn more about the people behind the service.
As part of our visit, GFG were also proud to make a donation to the Queensland Firefighters Charity, supporting the important work they do for firefighters and their families across the state.
A small gesture can never fully repay the dedication of our first responders, but we're proud to show our appreciation and support for those who give so much to our community.
Thank you to all Queensland Fire Department personnel for the work you do, every single day.

As builders, we often talk about projects, programs and milestones. But sometimes, it's the stories behind the doors that matter most.
For Desley, receiving the keys to her new home meant something she had almost lost hope of finding - security, stability, and a place to belong. After years of uncertainty, she and her sweet companion Milly now have a home to call their own.
We are humbled to have played a small part in delivering these homes alongside Mangrove Housing and our project partners. Stories like Desley's are a powerful reminder that social housing changes lives.
Because everyone deserves a place to feel safe, supported and at home.

GFG Projects is proud to have partnered with Brown and Hurley to deliver the successful extension of their workshop facility.
The project involved the construction of a new workshop and storage extension, expanding operational capacity and providing additional space to support the ongoing growth of the business. The new facility features additional workshop bays and upgraded infrastructure designed to improve efficiency and functionality across the site.
Delivered using tilt panel construction and structural steel, the extension seamlessly integrates with the existing facility while providing a modern, durable, and practical solution for Brown and Hurley’s operations.
Thank you to Brown and Hurley for the opportunity to deliver this project and for their continued partnership throughout the construction process.

Giving back to our community is something we value deeply at GFG Projects.
Recently, members of our team volunteered their time at the Base Services in Toowoomba, supporting an incredible local initiative making a real difference where it’s needed most.
From preparing meals, to serving our community, and helping clean up after service - it was a hands-on opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way.
A big thank you to the team for stepping up and representing the values we stand for.

GFG Projects was proud to sponsor Twilight on the Tarmac at Goondiwindi Airport - an incredible evening bringing the community together for a meaningful cause.
The event was a huge success, raising vital funds for the Nerve Connection Foundation to support important research led by a Toowoomba-based neurologist. This work plays a critical role in advancing understanding and treatment of neuromuscular diseases, including Motor Neurone Disease, Muscular Dystrophy and Pompe Disease.
