🐺 THE CLUB KEEPS GROWING 🐺

Big news to share, Wolves! We’ve finished this year ranked in the Top 5 Gold Rated Clubs by Football Queensland — a massive jump from last year, and something we’re incredibly proud of. 🖤

This club is not slowing down. This week’s visit from Borussia Dortmund brought some really exciting opportunities for what’s ahead, and it’s just another sign of the direction we’re heading in.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re looking forward to everything next season has in store. 🔥

⏰ Reminder: Academy Trial EOIs close next week! If you haven’t submitted yours yet, now’s the time — link in bio.

Borussia Dortmund (BVB) at Carmichael Park 🟡⚫️

Borussia Dortmund CEO — Carsten Cramer, spent the day with us, meeting some of our young players, coaches and families, as our partnership with BVB keeps getting stronger.

Watch out, exciting news coming! 🐺👀

🐺 THE GOOD NEWS KEEPS COMING! 🐺

Last Sunday, our U14 Div 3 team won their Grand Final! 🏆

Another incredible result to celebrate this week — so proud of this team and everything they've achieved this season. Congratulations, boys! 🔥

🐺 ACADEMY PLAYERS OF THE YEAR 🐺

At last week's Presentation Day, we introduced a brand-new award — and one that means a lot to us. For the first time, we recognised four Academy Players of the Year: Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Youth Boys and Youth Girls. 🖤

These awards weren't just about ability on the ball. They were about how each player represented our club values all season — their commitment, attitude, and the example they set for their teammates.

Congratulations to our very first winners:

🏅 Junior Boys — Curtly Coombs
🏅 Junior Girls — Peggy Stearman
🏅 Youth Boys — Benjamin Chaussende
🏅 Youth Girls — Bailey Coombs

So proud to celebrate these four for everything they've brought to the club this season. Well done! 🔥

🐺🏆 GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS 🏆🐺

WE ARE CELEBRATING!!! 🎉

Our U14 Div 2 Metro boys have gone all the way and won their Grand Final! 🖤

What an incredible achievement from this team — the hard work, the growth, the heart they've shown all season has led to this moment. So, so proud of every single one of you.

Congratulations, boys. Enjoy this one — you've earned it! 🔥

🐺 MEET THE TECHNICAL LEADS 🐺

Big season ahead, and it starts with the people behind the scenes. 👇

This year, Wynnum Wolves FC is moving to a Technical Lead model — a best-practice approach to coach education that means more mentorship, more development, and more contact time for our coaches. Why does that matter? Because better coaches make for better players. It all flows down. 🖤

Here’s how it works: our Technical Director trains and mentors each Technical Lead, who then passes that knowledge on through their coaching teams — building consistency and quality across every level of the club.

Meet the team:

🔹 Karl Dodd — Technical Director
🔹 Jeremy Medina — Senior Women’s Lead
🔹 Rebecca Greer — Academy Girls Lead
🔹 Gabriel Hawash — Senior Men’s Lead
🔹 Dom Hudak — Youth Boys Lead
🔹 Adam Krayem — Academy Boys Lead
🔹 Tom Collins — GK Lead

This crew is setting the foundations for a big season of growth — for coaches and players alike. Stay tuned, trial EOIs are opening Monday 21st of September! 🔥
