My son asked me to include a salmon salad “with extra skin” in his lunch. I hooked him up! 🙌🏾🤣 He also got some of his other favorites including organic sourdough crackers, blueberries 🫐 and persimmons!!!

As I sit here on my lunch break I’m wondering why I don't hook myself up with these yummy lunches more often 🤣 Who here is guilty of giving your kids all the good eats and not making them for yourself?? ✋🏾 I know I have more changes to make this year! My son is doing a fine job of sorting them right now! We are gonna toss them in the Dutch oven with onion 🧅 sautéed in bacon fat, garlic, Himalayan salt, pepper, paprika, chicken broth and bay leaves from my dear friend’s tree! Pro tip: DONT SOAK YOUR BLACK-EYED PEAS!!! They cook in under an hour and it ain’t necessary!! 😃 enjoy!

I’m still getting my
cake bake on! Lemon cake with a classic French Buttercream Icing made with the juice and rinds of pink and Meyer lemons as well as Palestinian limes.
