Today we are especially thinking of the nurses who travel into regional, rural and remote communities, step into unfamiliar services, adapt quickly, and support teams and patients in places where skilled nurses are genuinely needed.

That takes experience, clinical judgement, genuine care, resilience and a calm professionalism that is not always visible from the outside.

✨ Expressions of Interest Now Open

Salt Medics is building an ieMR Go Live Support Talent Pool for upcoming support roles at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

The project is expected to support major ieMR go live periods in October and December 2026. We are starting early so we can identify nurses with the right experience, confirm availability and prepare suitable candidates for review.

These are not standard ward nursing contracts.

These roles are for confident clinicians who know ieMR well and can support other nurses and hospital staff on the floor during go live. You may know this type of work as floor walking, at the elbow support, super user support or clinical go live support.

We are especially keen to hear from nurses who have worked in a fully digital hospital environments within the last 6 months, including:

• ED Nurses
• Theatre and Perioperative Nurses
• Medical and Surgical Nurses
• Maternity Nurses and Midwives

This opportunity would suit nurses who enjoy helping other clinicians, solving problems in real time and being part of a major hospital wide change project.

Ideally, we are looking for Brisbane based nurses, however we may also consider interstate nurses with strong recent ieMR experience who can commit to the full project periods.
