Get Flicked Photography
Brisbane based, highly creative photographer specializing in Conceptual photography but also Portrait It's not for everyone, but it's definitely for some.
I enjoy shooting creative and corporate portraits, gig/band photography, fashion, pets & family portraits, you name it! I started photographing bands in 2009 and gained a love for raw emotion portraits very quickly. I then branched out into street documentation, family shoots and band photography when I was lucky enough to have the chance. My style is somewhat raw and quirky; it shows the viewer a

The biggest compliment I can receive is when someone I know asks me to take their photograph because they’re “comfortable with you” and “I trust ya” 🙏🏼🎞
When Kyle asked me to take his updated headshots after we left our last job together, I was quietly chuffed that he’d even consider letting someone point a camera at him. And IN PUBLIC!! 😧 and even more chuffed that he asked me, of course.
See, my old mate Kyle has high-functioning autism, which means he’s incredibly fu***ng smart but it also makes the poor dude miss some social cues, get anxious when things get too loud and he can’t maintain eye contact for very long at all. It’s a wonder he’s ever been able to tolerate me. Ha! 😂
So it came as a real surprise when after three minutes of having the Canon in his face, the legend that is Kyle came out. Comfortably. Himself. We laughed and bi***ed, just like the old days working together. We got him some sweet headshots that he’s really happy with and as a perfectionist himself, that’s a huge compliment for me 👐🏼😄
Keen to shoot more interesting faces this year. Send me a DM if you’d be keen to shoot together! 💪🏼✨

“Sometimes I feel guilty for the way I appreciate male basketball players physical attributes but then I read Instagram comments on players photos and honestly some of y’all need a Satisfyer Pro 2 and a cold shower.” 💦 - Georgia, NBA season 2019.

Georgia (George to me, to you) 💖
Georgia enjoys Lil Tracy, frozen cokes and DJing at Emo Night. She is one of the most passionate and dramatic ladies I know (which if you know me, you know I hella vibe with) and loves her many, many cats very, very much. 😻
She let me photograph her this week. What a dream. 😍👐🏼
More on George soon 😘

City or Country views❓
I love the sights, sounds and contrasts of the big smoke, but not much beats getting out into nature and seeing nothing but rolling paddocks as far as your eyes can see. 🌾
Just a shame there isn’t more coffee out rural.

Flashing back because I miss and this black and white does things to me 😳😉 I think it’s the way she’s staring down the camera like that. 😍
Even Sam can’t take his eyes off her. Oof. 🙌🏼

Sydney is so quaint....
Yet absolutely fu***ng insane at the exact same time. People beep at you loud and often, no one stops to help you when you ask directions, people don’t thank the wait staff, homeless humans cover themselves under any sheltering surface possible - and many have dogs with them. 💔
There’s some real pretty, gold laced, fancy s**t in Sydney. Picturesque. Perfect.
There’s also a really sad, dark underbelly to it, too. 😔
