Vivid LIVE 2026 has officially wrapped, but we'll be playing all the best moments on repeat all the way to next year! 🎶

Cate Le Bon and Cass McCombs sparkled in our Joan Sutherland Theatre, delighting fans with sets as heartfelt as they were beautiful. Alfa Mist delivered a flawless blend of jazz and hip-hop, supported by rising star Yasmina Sadiki 👏

Matt Berninger wowed the crowd from both our Concert Hall stage and the stands, making his solo Australian debut in style playing both recent album releases as well as beloved hits from The National. The angelic Jem Cassar-Daley created moments of pure magic for her fans, even inviting her mum to share the stage for a beautiful duet that moved the audience to tears.

Last, but certainly not least, Thee Sacred Souls were the perfect finish to a wonderful Vivid LIVE. Presenting a sold-out, in-the-round show alongside a full band to craft smooth soulful sounds to fill our Concert Hall.

On 10 June 2026, Sydney Opera House will host its second Giving Day to raise funds that enable free programs for under-resourced schools, children living with disability, and Aussie families.

Last year, 3,755 students from 62 schools benefited from Arts Assist. This year, your support will help even more children experience the Opera House and discover what they’re capable of.

Last week saw epic performances night after night as more incredible artists took to our stages for Vivid LIVE! 🎶

kwn delighted fans with new music, who were on their feet from the very first note. Flying Lotus transported our Joan Sutherland Theatre into another dimension with a visually stunning set unlike anything we've ever seen. Sparks were flying as Sparks took to the stage, playing music from across their career as they carried fans with them through epic tales and equally epic songs. ZIPPORAH and Mi-kaisha lit up our Utzon Room with velvety smooth tones and soulful sounds alongside some very special guests.

Feeling the FOMO yet? Dry Cleaning brought their unique blend of art-rock to the stage for good vibes all round. Khamari set up a beautiful show that had standing ovations to spare, surprising fans with a meet and greet afterwards as well!
And if you weren't sure you had enough energy to make it to the end of Vivid LIVE TR/ST had plenty to spare, with bouncing beats and synth-pop goodness that had the crowd on their feet. There's only two more nights of to go!

Vivid LIVE 2026 is officially here and the weekend vibes are still going strong! 🎶

Friday saw our stages burst to life as King Stingray brought some surf rock excellence to the Concert Hall with a mesmerising set to help kick off Vivid LIVE! Meanwhile Jeff Mills celebrated the 30th anniversary of his Liquid Room Mix by turning the Studio into the hottest club in Sydney with epic crowds for two huge nights!

Saturday brought beloved Scottish four piece Mogwai to our Concert Hall to celebrate their own 30th anniversary with a compelling show that transported fans through the decades with epic beats and earth-shaking crescendos.

Sunday saw Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE hype up the crowd with tracks from their recent collab album, while Current Joys surprised fans with not only classic tracks but also some amazing new songs from their unreleased album!

And that's just some of what went down - with 9 more nights of still to come, weeknights have never looked better! 👏
