So this happened 😍
We were at the Federal Cat Club Kitten and Desexed Show last weekend and had some amazing results.

I honestly didn’t expect this especially after the stressful morning we had when Jasi decided to do a last minute no 2 before we left for the show and left skid marks for me to clean up on her backside.

She recovered miraculously after a few hours and decided the show wasn’t so bad (no screaming kids this time) and turned on the charms for all 4 judges.

We had a quadfecta (is there even such a word?) win for Group 3 Best Desexed Cat competing against some fabulous award winning desexed boys. I honestly couldn’t believe it.

We won a lovely rosette. I know people think that I’m silly after 20+ years in the cat world I still love my rosettes and ribbons more than anything else.

I had a fabulous time helping out and catching up with cat friends. And next Monday I’ll be back at The Royal Easter Show with Jasi again.

Just so proud of my beautiful baby more than words can describe. Thank you to all the judges for your kind words and support. And many thanks to everyone who helped out and made this show possible.

Now it’s her turn to do no work 😂

Every time we choose to keep a kitten, we are always 100% committed to the cat and he or she becomes a part of the family for life. However, there are times when we know in our hearts that they would be happier in someone else’s arms, so we make the heart breaking decision to let them to a better life.

It was extremely hard to say goodbye to Dalia. She was my constant shadow (even when I’m jn the bathroom) and was just so devoted to ME. But I knew in my heart that there were just too many others to contend with and she needs her own person/people.

A month ago Gemma, Simon and their little family came to our house to visit. The connection between them and Dalia was instant. Liam their little boy is not even 4 but he’s just so gentle and loving to Dalia I just knew it would work.

So a week ago we drove Dalia to their house. We set up everything for her in the spare bathroom without the kids to start with, and in less than a week Dalia has already fully settled running around playing with everyone.

To Gemma, Simon, Layla and Liam, thank you for loving Dalia, I hope having her is just as exciting as having Mimi around. Almost 19 years I’ve known you guys, I’m happy that I’m able to provide you with another Burmilla to love for many years to come.
