Day 1 of Hawkesbury Dressage Festival CPEDI at Sydney International Equestrian Centre done. Yesterday, Helmut traveled beautifully and got off the truck after the 8hr trip, put his head straight down and started eating 😂 he was not phased at all about his new environment, it was like he’s been here a million times. We had an arena familiarisation last night, just to get him moving after the long trip, and Helmut as happy to walk up to the indoor in the dark under the lights on the buckle. Today we started with arena familiarisation and he felt absolutely amazing! He was on fire 🫶🏼 we finished the ride with a walk around the grounds to allow Helmut to stretch and cool down. My sensational groom @katie_nlee turned Helmut out immaculately for trot up and he was looking and feeling great!
