Today we share the news that Above 8 Rooftop Bar & Lounge will officially close on 20 December.

Since opening our doors in 2022, Above 8 has been the setting for countless memorable moments, from weddings and baby showers to birthdays, corporate functions, cocktail nights, and unforgettable dining experiences. It has been our privilege to host your celebrations, milestones, and everyday catch-ups.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every member and guest who visited, supported us, and helped shape Above 8 into the vibrant rooftop destination it became.

While the restaurant will be closed for lunch and dinner service, Above 8 will remain open for breakfast daily. To assist with planning, we will operate as follows across the Christmas and New Year public holidays:

Thursday, 25 December 2025 (Christmas Day Brunch): 6:30am – 12:30pm
Friday, 26 December 2025: 6:30am – 10:00am
Thursday, 1 January 2026: 6:30am – 10:00am
