That overwhelm you feel in the morning (or at the start of your 'work day') maaaaaaay be coming from (or at least contributed to) not knowing your most important things for today...
Do Future You a favour by planning your tomorrow today.
Before you wrap up today, write tomorrow's To Do List.
Start with the BAUs (Business As Usual - all the things you need to do daily / weekly / monthly) and then the top 3-5 other things.
Starting the day with a clear plan of what to do rather than spending an hour shuffling papers to decide where to start is the biggest gift you can give yourself!
Oh... and drink some bloody water today, wouldja š (this is a love note to myself)

Happy Monday, Fam!
Oooooh it's a DOOZIE this week and I'm feeling READY (for the first Monday in weeeeeeks!)
- This afternoon I'm recording episodes (aiming for 10???) for the re-launch of my podcast, The Recovering Perfectionist... doing the Body Season first and it's not too late to shoot me your questions (the episodes will largely be As to your Qs format - comment below or DM me)
- Batchie call today is allllll about social media content and I'm committed to having my MAY content ready for my VA to schedule by the end of Wednesday
- Excited for 's Progress Art GYM to start tomorrow (are you doing it too?)
- Launching a NEW micro offer this week (OMG it's juicy and gonna be super helpful)
- Also pulling together a new group offer that will be available from October this year (OMG so excited about this)
- And a bunch of other things including hosting friends from Adelaide for a few days, footy season starting for my boy, redoing my bookcase (yes I am VERY excited about that)...
Yesterday I also did my first yoga class in a long time and I bloody LOVED IT plus I went for a lovely lazy long walk along the beach and saw a couple of sea turtles and I've committed to 3 beach walks a week - not negotiable!
Feeling good in my mind and my body is such a WEIRD SENSATION and I'm here for it!

Exciting news: I'm relaunching my podcast, The Recovering Perfectionist - WOOHOO!
It's going to be preeeeetty different than it's earlier iterations...
š©· Seasons or 12ish episodes, focusing on a core topic
š©· 10 episodes per season will be short, solo episodes; 2 will be panel / interview style with an expert
š©· The solo episodes will be based on QUESTIONS I get from the people around me (I'll answer 1-3 per episode)
š©· There will be a platform for people wishing to continue the conversation
š©· I MAY also do a mini challenge for each season, based on the core topic
The first season / topic is going to be around BODY stuff (based on the blog I released in January about my accidental sobriety) including
š going booze-free (15 months now)
š weight loss and its associated mind-f*cks as well as hacks, tips and real life stories
š body image
š relationships
So... if you've been following along this little side quest of mine, what questions do you have...? Nothing is off the table...
Bonus points if you tell me... do you think that's too broad a topic (i.e. would you prefer 12 episodes just about the alcohol thing and 12 just about weight loss etc.)?

I'm Back 'In The Office'... (aka, on my couch, with my laptop)
I feel like I dropped the ball a bit in March and have just enjoyed a DELICIOUS 2 weeks of school holidays with my babies... so I have some catch up to do...
Today... back in the office and hit the ground running with a FABULOUS client session...
I now have the rest of today to get admin sorted, back to ground zero with BAUs and toughing base with all my VIPs re the plan for the next few weeks (if this is you - keep an eye on your inbox / messenger today)...
This is the first year that I have planned to take 'off' all school holidays... partly because for the time my kids are with me, I want to be hanging out with them and the part they're usually with their OP I can spend on down time or work - whichever I need...
It's uncomfortable, but necessary...
I REALLY struggle with down time...
Like REALLY... if I'm not working I feel like I should AT LEAST be cleaning / tidying / working on home stuff and if I'm not doing that I should AT LEAST be doing a hobby...
And when I do none of these, I beat myself up.
So silly.
It's all a practice.
But I have had some downtime and now I'm excited to jump back in for the next 10 weeks before I head to Bali!
