Inspired Building Projects

As the old adage goes "a builders house is never complete". It's been 12 months and were oh so close.
Just a few cosmetic touches and landscaping but its been most afternoons and every weekend that im not off on a scout camp to get this far. Here's a little photo timeline thus far

Clean lines around our coonowrin pool

With a two week curing time on traditional glazing putty, stripping these two casement windows and retrofitting them as pool safe awning windows has turned into quite the little side project. First one went in today and the third one got glazed with fresh toughened & obscured glass (bathroom grade) today, it's a shame we can't finish the feature cladding on the walls until the deck and soffits are complete.

What a big difference 3 days can make, it's had it's challenges but this poolside extension is looking the part already.

It's been a hectic 7 weeks, dealing with the usual Christmas rush on site and building our own pool. Luckily we got partial certification to put water in before Christmas, before we start the deck and roof in the new year. Big shout out to the mates that were able to give me a hand at different stages, couldn't have done it without the extra muscle. More progress shots to come.
