We're incredibly proud of Magda Wood, who was named the PADC 2025 Diamond Skull Account Manager of the Year.

Magda was invited to join a panel of industry leaders on the latest PADCast episode, The Art of Account Management, where she shared insights into the people skills, strategic thinking and commercial acumen that make great account managers so valuable.

Magda's journey is a fantastic reflection of the culture we're proud to foster at Gatecrasher, giving talented people the opportunity to grow, develop their craft and make a real impact on clients, colleagues and the industry.

Fellow panellists included Lauren Moss, René Migliore and Dan Agostino.

For the past couple of years, when our creative partner Adam hasn’t been busy concepting, he’s spent his time and creativity constructing a pretty wooden sailboat.

Last week Skyelark was launched in the Swan River at Matilda Bay.

It has been great having Sophie in the agency each week. She has shared the following:

"I have really loved my internship at Gatecrasher. Working alongside Henry meant I was able to work on a range of briefs each week, which helped me strengthen my creative thinking and become more thoughtful and critical in my approach. This has been a valuable opportunity to build my skills and confidence while gaining a better understanding of the advertising industry. This experience has made me even more excited to step into the design world after graduation. A big thank you to the Gatecrasher team for this valuable opportunity and for being so supportive throughout my time there."

As we wrap up Q1 of 2026, it’s safe to say the GC team has been keeping busy 👀

With an eventful start to the year, we thought we’d share a few of the things we've been up to!

Always looking for new ways to collaborate creatively and expand our offering, we’ve recently welcomed Anthony Raspa and his team at Dezign Digital to share our office space.

Anthony brings a wealth of experience in data and results driven web design and digital marketing.

He’s also a very decent person, mean bass player and can fly a plane!

We’re proud to share a couple of really nice outdoor ads we’ve recently created for our clients SunSmart WA! One is a special-build bus shelter at Perth’s very popular swimming beach in Cottesloe. It pays fun homage to the iconic pylon and cheeky seagulls synonymous with the location. The other is a huge dramatic mural at Water Town in the CBD which echoes the theme of the current ‘If You Could See UV’ campaign running over the summer period. A shoutout to media partner OMD WA and production partner Mural Media for bringing this to life!

We recently said goodbye to our fantastic intern Matilda. It has been great having her in the agency each week. Matilda shared the below:

"My internship at Gatecrasher has been a very rewarding experience. I got to work across a mix of graphic design and advertising briefs, and it really pushed me in the best way. Working with Henry helped me build confidence in my skills and trust my creative instincts. Finishing uni and stepping straight into an environment like this made the transition into the industry feel exciting. I’m really grateful for everything I learned and for the wonderful team at Gatecrasher."
