Weekend Food Escapes

I really enjoyed the yum cha at Star Capital Seafood in Chatswood, Sydney. Fresh hot dishes, good variety and a nice location.

It’s a great way to sip tea (I love a mix of jasmine and chrysanthemum tea), eat delicious dishes and unwind on the weekend.

I recently was at at their famous Harvest Buffet. This was my food strategy

1. I always eat seafood first, followed by any other enticing proteins
2. I then go for a small amount of carbs and a little salad/fruit to satisfy cravings. I enjoyed a few mini spring rolls, veg samosa, a sample of noodles
3. I go back for more salad and fruit for balance
4. I love the dessert at the Harvest Buffet so I eat mini cheesecake, pear tart and chocolate brownie with fruit and a green tea
5. I wear comfortable clothes and try and walk afterwards!

Moderation, value and feeling nourished! Who loves a buffet?

Winter has arrived, it’s starting to feel a bit cold 🥶. was a nice little spot.

I had the Chirashi Don set. It was delicious 😋 . For some reason they had no tea on their menu. Is this odd?
