Our Cert II Cookery students were busy showcasing their culinary skills, serving up delicious sushi for staff at Redbank Plains State High School.
Todayโs menu featured mouth-watering Teriyaki Beef and Smoked Salmon sushi โ freshly prepared and absolutely packed with flavour!

This program presents a golden opportunity for individuals passionate about heavy vehicles to kick-start their careers and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Multiple apprenticeships are available.

Today our Cert I Construction students in the WesTEC TEC Program had an exciting industry engagement session with Steve from CSQ! ๐ทโโ๏ธ๐๏ธ
Students stepped into a virtual reality construction experience where they explored both civil and residential construction sites. They spoke with site supervisors, completed assigned tasks, followed site instructions, and even got hands-on experience flying drones, spray painting, and operating a crane through the VR simulation.
It was fantastic to see the students so engaged and excited about the industry, with some of their favourite parts including:

Attendance at WesTEC is essential. Every training day includes practical skills, assessments, and industry learning that cannot always be made up later. Missing days can impact your progress, results, and future pathway opportunities.
If you are unwell and unable to attend your WesTEC day, you must:

Planned absences for school activities, or other commitments must be approved through your school. Schools will notify WesTEC once approval has been given.
Every day counts toward completing your course successfully.
