Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into a hit-and-run traffic crash in Buderim this afternoon.

Initial investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) indicate around 5.34pm, a vehicle travelling east along Townsend Road struck a pedestrian.

A man has been charged following an armed incident at Helensvale last night, 18 June.

It will be alleged that around 10.15pm, a 19-year-old employee was leaving a business on Town Centre Drive when he was approached by a man.

Police are appealing for information after man passed away in hospital following a traffic crash involving a car and bicycle at Elanora on 14 June.

Initial investigations indicate that around 7.40am, the cyclist and a Mitsubishi Outlander collided on Guineas Creek Road.

Update: Northbrook Parkway, Dundas is now cleared from the earlier crash.

Mount Glorious: Motorists are advised of traffic disruptions on the Northbrook Parkway, Dundas, west of Mount Glorious, due to a motorbike crash. The road will be closed while the scene is cleared. Please drive with caution.
