The Challenger Valves training room was put to good use today, with training delivered by David Mohorovicic from Rotork Australia.

The session provided a valuable overview of the Rotork IQ and IQT range of electric actuators, including general sales analysis, key product features, and application insights.

Training also covered sizing and selection programs, with practical guidance tailored for both our Internal Sales and Valve Assembly teams.

Overall, it was a highly informative session that will further strengthen our product knowledge and capability when supporting customers and upcoming projects.

🎉 Long Service Legends Alert! 🎉
We escaped the desks today for a very important reason… lunch 🍽️ (and also to celebrate a few big milestones 😄).
Huge shoutout to:
👏 Coops (20 years) Our Dispatch legend who keeps things moving (most of the time 😆) and our slightly questionable OHS rep — but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Coops, you bring the laughs, the chaos, and somehow still get the job done. You’re a huge part of the team and definitely one of the most well-loved characters around here 👊
Thanks for all the hard work, the banter, and keeping things “interesting” over the years!
👏Matt (20 years) Warehouse: Our sturdy, reliable quiet achiever — Matt is the kind of team member you can always count on. He just gets in, gets it done, and never makes a fuss… but his hard work definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.
No drama, no spotlight — just consistent effort and a great attitude every day 💪
Thanks Matt for everything you do — we’re lucky to have you on the team!
👏 Dave has clocked up 30 years with Challenger Valves 👏
In that time, it’s fair to say Dave has done just about every job there is… and probably a few that weren’t even in the job description 😆
Need to know how something works? Ask Dave.
Need to know why something isn’t working? Definitely ask Dave.
Need to know how it was done back in the day? Dave’s your man.
His knowledge is second to none, his experience is invaluable, and let’s be honest — there’s not much that happens around here that Dave hasn’t seen before 👊
Thanks for 30 years of hard work, loyalty, and keeping the rest of us on track (whether we asked for it or not 😂).

All jokes aside, we’re lucky to have such a dedicated crew. Thanks for the years of hard work—and for hanging around this long!

Water supply planning 21/05/2026

Understanding water supply planning is crucial for sustainable community growth. Western Australia's resources are under pressure as double water usage since the 1980s coincides with reduced rainfall. The Water Supply Planning team tackles this issue by coordinating with stakeholders to forecast demands and ensure water security through effective management.

This strategic approach aligns with Challenger Valves' dedication to innovating reliable valve solutions crucial for water management and infrastructure. Our commitment to sustainable practices plays a role in optimizing water utility systems, ensuring efficient water use amid Australian climate challenges.
