✨ A Moment of Joy at Bush Kinder ✨

There are some moments in childhood that simply can't be planned—and today was one of them.

While exploring at Bush Kinder, one of our little adventurers experienced pure delight when a curious magpie chose their bag as the perfect place to land. 🐦💛

The excitement, wonder, and huge smiles that followed reminded us why spending time in nature is so special. These unexpected encounters help children build connections with the natural world, encouraging curiosity, respect, and a sense of belonging in the environment around them.

It's often the simplest moments that create the most treasured memories.

🌿 Bush Kinder Adventures 🌿
Today our Bush Kinder children embraced the great outdoors through exploration, discovery, and imaginative play.
The children spent the day climbing, balancing, building, and investigating the natural environment around them. From creating adventures amongst the fallen branches to carefully arranging treasures found along the way, every experience encouraged problem-solving, creativity, and confidence.
Bush Kinder provides endless opportunities for children to develop resilience, teamwork, physical skills, and a deep connection with nature. It was wonderful to see their curiosity shine as they explored, challenged themselves, and worked together throughout the day.
What a fantastic day of learning, laughter, and outdoor adventure! 🍃💚

🇦🇺 ANZAC Day Reflection 🇳🇿
As ANZAC Day approaches, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and service of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, and all those who have served and continue to serve our countries.
At our centre, we acknowledge the importance of helping children understand the meaning of remembrance in an age-appropriate and respectful way. Through simple conversations, stories, and creative experiences, we honour the values of mateship, bravery, and gratitude.
We recognise ANZAC Day as a significant day of reflection in our community, and we encourage families to take a moment together to remember those who have served.

This morning we were greeted with the most beautiful surprise — an anonymous donation of nappies for the charity we are proudly supporting, The Nappy Collective.

To walk in and see such a thoughtful act of kindness waiting at our door truly warmed our hearts and set the tone for the entire day. 💛

All donations will be delivered to the Longwood Community on Thursday, 22 January.
