Good morning. Im doing charity work from 9 am to 9 pm tonight in multiple places in the community. Starting at the GV hospital where I will be presenting a workshop to support men with cancer.

Then Im serving food as volunteer at the local football club to help them out aswell.

It will be a long day but we will accomplish beautiful things. I will not be at work today. Every thing Im doing today is for the community.

Wow! At this point of time $33,951 was raised in support of the McGrath Cancer Nurses at Shepparton Harness Racing's Pacing for Pink event. A big shout out to our amazing sponsors and those who generously donated items for the silent auction and raffle.
A huge thankyou to all who braved the wet conditions, many travelling long distances to support the cause - owners, trainers, drivers and the wider community from as far as Melbourne, Warrandyte, Cobram and neighbouring districts all made sure it was a wonderful day to remember. Their generosity on the day was nothing short of amazing.
A very big thankyou to the M.C.'s for the day; Kim O'Keeffe MP, Lauren Caldow and our dependable Trackside Host, Paul Campbell, who in trying conditions kept the show rolling along with daughter Holi whose magnificent photographic record of the day was simply brilliant.
It would be very remiss of me not to acknowledge the amazing volunteers who came and worked tirelessly behind the scenes on both Saturday and Sunday. I usually don't like to single people out as all are appreciated, however I am giving a big shoutout to Michael Burns who was at the track at the 'crack of dawn' showing great initiatve arriving with his tractor and fork lift to transport all the silent auction and raffle items across to the setup area in the stables. Michael you are a legend saving many footsteps and bad backs!

Myself and the gorgeous Stef from the ‘Look Good Feel better’ workshops that we present at Victorian regional hospitals will be present in person on Sunday to help educate people on our amazing organisation and what our volunteer work to help people with cancer involves. 💞
