Job Summary:

Carrying out routine vehicle checks
Load and unload freight onto the truck using forklift when required
Making sure loads are correctly placed and secured
Driving vehicles to their destination and unloading according to site requirements
Maintaining a logbook with details of trips, including rest breaks on long trips
Customer service focused
Destinations will range from Goulburn Valley, Melbourne, Wodonga

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

Have an HC or MC license with a minimum 3 years of experience
Have a forklift licence
Have a strong awareness of OHS Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Be able to work as part of a team
Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
Maintain a sense of urgency
Be capable and confident in your ability to support day to day demand

We are looking for a seasonal, experienced HC/MC truck drivers.

You will be completing all tasks and duties required for driving around the local area, as well as some long-distance jobs.

Ideally, this position would suit someone from within the Goulburn Valley with local area knowledge, but some long-distance driving will also be required, so experience in this area is desirable. Knowledge of fatigue management practices would be an advantage.

An exciting opportunity exist for an Administrative Officer to provide high quality and effective administrative support and customer service to the business units alongside its produce and packaging clients in a multi-disciplinary environment. The incumbent performs a range of administrative and operational activities such as administration, reception and general clerical duties.

Vadpak was established in June 1994 by the Damianopoulos Family who at that time were orchardists at Grahamvale on the outskirts of Shepparton in Victoria. Krate, Vasil and Faye Damianopoulos were contracted by Visy Board to provide labour to run a box erecting machine at Visy Board's Depot in Shepparton. This association between Vadpak and Visy Board has continued since 1994.

In 1994 we saw an opportunity to provide a range of Packaging Materials to Fruit and Produce growers throughout the Goulburn Valley, so another company was created, being GV Packaging. During the period from 1994 until its sale in 2005, GV Packaging became a leading supplier of Packaging Materials in the region. After GV Packaging was sold in 2005, we purchased a property at Grahamvale which has been developed over the years in conjunction with Visy Board to provide a state-of-the-art depot for the erecting and distribution of fruit and produce cartons.

In 2015, Vadpak were appointed agents for Visy Boxes and More, and took on an active role to promote and sell a full range of Packaging Supplies to the Goulburn Valley.

The Vadpak business is currently operated by father and son, Vasil and David Damianopoulos, and supported by their families.
