Bring Bella Back
Bella is Missing pease help us bring her home safe
Bella is a 2 year old english staffy, she is black and a little brown all over (even her toes) with just the smallest patch of white on her chest. She is small in stature and likely to be very skittish and hold herself low to the ground with ear pressed back. In searching we ask people to please not call her name, whistle, take other dogs on the search or approach her if seen, please just contact us as we fear she will run and hide again.
BELLA IS HOME!!
Bella turned up at the front door this morning and is safe and sound back home!
We cant thank the community enough for everything they have done to aid in our search and the group of women that helped advise us through this worrying time. The support has been overwhelming so THANK YOU! she is home!!

UPDATE: We have gotten a call about the incident and are trying to find out if it was our baby or not, just waiting to hear at the moment. Thank you to everyone who helped share this its very much appreciated.
On Monday the 2nd around 11am a dog matching Bella's description was seen trying to cross the road in front of the south subway before the GV highway, apparently 2 cars stopped traffic to help the dog but it is uncertain whether the dog was put in a car or helped to cross the road. If anyone has any information about this incident please message this page or 0447 515 467.

Bella is a black/dark brown staffy girl, who ran off terrified due to fireworks on Christmas Day. Since then there have been a few sightings, however Bella is in survival mode and will run if approached..
What is survival mode?
Survival mode is a mental state dogs revert to when in extreme stress, to keep them safe.. In this mode they seek 2 primary things.. safety and water.. We believe Bella is hiding around the creek/river area.. In survival mode, anything and anyone are the enemy and dogs do not recognise their owners and will not come to anyone.. we use scent and food to bring them out of it so they know their people..
What can you do as a community?
the last place Bella was sighted was at the junction of Lincon Drv and Hassett St. on Saturday morning.. food and scent items have been placed around the walking tracks for her to find.
Do you live on Hassett st or Lincon Drv or any streets around THERE AND HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS? Bella has been gone 7 days now and may be getting hungry , Please check any footage, as she may be visiting your house at night..
If you walk or run in there, the best thing you can do if you spot Bella, is to IGNORE HER, DON’T CALL, FOLLOW OR TRY AND APPROACH HER..
just ring 0447 515 467 straight away..
At this time, we just need to know which area she is in, so we can format a plan to secure her.. Bella is lost, scared and confused.. it’s going to take a community to help get her back to her people..

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you an update on where we are at with the search for Bellla.
She was last believed to be sighted on hasset st in shepparton or in the bushland around that area. We have had our family walking, riding, and driving the area combing for her. We have set up a bait last night to hopefully lure her out while family waited close by. We havent had any luck and no animals went to the bait which is why we believe she may have moved closer into town before we got there.
The family would just like to say a massive thankyou to all the people that are helping us search in person and online. The kids, families and people we run into already out looking, the people that come with the drones and everyone who has messaged posted and shared.
We are still looking for Bella day and night. Julie and David (parents/owners) have spent everyday outside in the weather searching non stop and its really great to know we arent alone in the search so THANKYOU keep it up and hopefully we can bring Bella home soon!!!
