VH-MJW departed Scone Aircraft Maintenance this afternoon and arrived safely in Mudgee. If you're over that way, book yourself a terrific experience in a vintage Tiger Moth.

Good old VH-WAD, back out the door after another periodic inspection. This was a big one, with 1000 hour airframe checks required.

This is why we do 100 hourly/annual inspections. Unfortunately, for the customer, this oil filter contains a number of small metal flakes. A bad sign for the engine, which will need to be stripped and inspected. Nonetheless, much better to find this during scheduled maintenance than suffer an engine failure airborne.

Nice video featuring PA31-350 Chieftain VH-WAD, which we maintain. Looking forward to seeing it back again shortly for its next scheduled inspection.
