Experimenting making a cabin sole floor for my S&S 34.

Using AA Marine plywood, American White Ash Inlay, and time. I routed the chanels into the plywood, and machined the white ash to fit within the groove. Stained the plywood before inlaying and I reckon it turned out pretty nice.

Never done it before so hopefully it will stand the test of time.

Much cheaper, and more sustainable than a traditional "Teak and Holly" cabin sole.

Using the Stanley no 45, for rebating some interior trims out of NG rosewood

How far we have come on the deck of this S&S 34.

Still lots to do such as varnish and fittings, but very happy with the progress so far.
