The Pony Club is open to all horse enthusiasts with particular emphasis being on the formation and development of youth within the equestrian discipline.
Emily, Chelsea and Ollie had a fantastic weekend representing Runcorn at the Zone 26 Campdraft at Kilcoy.
The weekend was packed with fun activities, finishing with a Campdraft Competition. Emily and Chelsea rode exceptionally well on some very sticky beasts, showing great determination and horsemanship throughout. Emily improved on her first-round score to place 5th in the second round β a wonderful achievement!

We were very lucky to have a special visit from our local Councillor, Kim Marx, who is a wonderful supporter of Pony Clubs and the wider equestrian community.
Thank you, Cr. Marx, for taking the time to visit Runcorn Pony Club, chat with our members, and see firsthand the important role Pony Clubs play in developing horsemanship, confidence, leadership, and community spirit in young riders.
We greatly appreciate your ongoing support of our club and the broader Pony Club community. π΄π
What a fantastic muster at Runcorn this weekend!
We packed a lot into the day, with Maree taking parents through their Gear Check Accreditation, followed by a Questionnaire Hunt, Kids First Aid, and Cross Country riding out the back.
Emily kept our younger riders busy with some great riding activities, helping them build confidence while having plenty of fun.
Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a memorable one.
What an incredible day at the Liberty Foundations Clinic with Donal from Hancock Horsemanship, hosted at our club! π΄β¨
The clinic provided a fantastic opportunity to develop a deeper connection with our horses, focusing on communication, trust, respect and understanding through liberty work. Donal's knowledge, patience and ability to explain the "why" behind each exercise made for an engaging and inspiring learning experience.
It was amazing to see the progress made throughout the day and to watch the partnerships between horse and handler grow with every session.
A huge thank you to Donal for sharing his expertise and passion. We left with plenty to work on, new skills to develop, and a renewed appreciation for the foundations that create confident, willing and connected equine partners.
The perfect way to finish the day was with wine and cheese, followed by an inspiring presentation from Donal that gave us even more insight into the horsemanship journey.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to putting everything we've learned into practice! ππ

Congratulations to Chelsea on representing our club at the Greenbank Pony Club Dressage and Combined Training Day!
Chelsea achieved some fantastic results, placing **6th Overall in her Dressage Class** and an impressive **2nd Overall in Combined Training**.
We are incredibly proud of your efforts and look forward to seeing what you achieve next. Well done, Chelsea!
A big thank you to Greenbank Pony Club for putting on a great day, and all the volunteers that made the day happen.
Today at our muster, we were excited to run our Cool Kids First Aid Clinic for our junior members.
A huge thank you to Sunnybank Community Sports Club for their generous sponsorship, which made this fantastic opportunity possible, and to the Cool Kids Aid Team for delivering such a fun, engaging and educational course. Our junior members learned valuable first aid skills and gained confidence in knowing how to help others in an emergency.
It was wonderful to see everyone so enthusiastic and involved throughout the session. These are life skills that can make a real difference, and we're proud to support our young members in developing them.
Thank you again to everyone who helped make the day such a success!
