Language is the primary way we relate to others and understand our world. In English, we don’t just read books; we explore how meaning is shaped, interpreted, and reflected across our society. We examine what it is to be human through great texts thereby promoting empathy and understanding.
All students study English as a core subject, but at Grace we also offer Ignite English which is an exciting extension subject in Years 7-9 for those who love reading and writing, as well as Literature, Essential English, and English and Literature Extension courses in the senior years.
Our students engage with a wide variety of interesting texts, from classic literature and spoken word to modern visual media. By experimenting with different forms of expression, they become active, independent learners with a unique voice who aren't afraid to challenge and critique ideas.
Beyond the classroom, these skills empower our students to be confident communicators and imaginative thinkers. Whether they are clarifying complex problems or navigating digital landscapes, they leave with the tools to participate actively and thoughtfully in the world.

Health and Physical Education are at the heart of promoting healthy, active individuals as a community.
Subjects in this learning area support an appreciation and challenge of the interactions between the human body and the world in which we live, with a strengths-based approach to optimising health outcomes for ourselves and others. A huge thank you to the loud home crowd whose support helped drive the team forward!
It all now comes down to the final group match against Padua, where a place in the knockout stage is on the line.

Business begins with a bold idea and the courage to turn it into impact.
Students at Grace who choose Business subjects including Accounting, Business, Economics, Legal Studies and Digital Solutions embark on a dynamic learning journey where entrepreneurship and innovation shape real-world skills.
