A huge thank you to Peninsula Business Networking for their incredible support of Southern Peninsula Community Support.

Last night, we were honoured to receive a donation of $1,000 raised through their recent networking event at the Frankston Arts Centre, where $10 from every ticket sold was donated to support local people experiencing homelessness and hardship across the Southern Mornington Peninsula.

Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of local businesses coming together to make a real difference in our community. Not only did attendees have the opportunity to build valuable connections, but they also helped provide practical support to those who need it most.

Thank you to the Peninsula Business Networking committee, everyone who attended the event, and all those who contributed to making this donation possible. Your generosity and community spirit are helping us continue to support local individuals and families doing it tough.

Together, we can create meaningful change. πŸ€©πŸ‘

πŸŒ±πŸ’š The OG growers of Peninsula Grow to Give are back doing what they do best!

A huge thank you to our wonderful friends John and Joyce from Village Glen, who have once again filled our pantry with beautiful, fresh produce for local families doing it tough.

Every cabbage, every leafy green, and every capsicum represents so much more than food. It represents kindness, community, and people looking after one another.

Thanks to the generosity of growers like John and Joyce, we're able to provide fresh, nutritious food to the hundreds of people who turn to us for support each week.

John and Joyce have been part of the Peninsula Grow to Give journey from the very beginning, and their ongoing commitment continues to make a real difference in the lives of local people.

πŸ’š From all of us at SPCS – thank you, John & Joyce. We love you both and are so grateful for everything you do for our community.

Did you know that the Mornington Peninsula has one of the highest rates of rough sleeping in Greater Melbourne?

On Friday 31 July, our community will come together for the Southern Peninsula Sleepout at The Ranch Adventure Park to raise vital funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness right here on the Peninsula.

Whether you book a campsite, make a donation, become a sponsor, or simply help spread the word, every contribution makes a difference.

The funds raised will support Southern Peninsula Community Support's Homelessness services, providing practical assistance, outreach, food, advocacy and support to people doing it tough in our community.

A huge thank you to The Ranch and all of the incredible sponsors and supporters helping make this event possible.

What an incredible effort from Molly and the team at InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula !

Housekeeper Molly and her colleagues have gone above and beyond, collecting and returning cans from guest rooms, ensuring they are recycled and refunded rather than going to waste.

Through their amazing initiative, an incredible 20,000 cans have been saved from landfill - generating over $2,000 in funds that will directly support Southern Peninsula Community Support.

This is a beautiful example of sustainability in action and community spirit at its best. Every can collected has turned into real support for local people doing it tough.

A huge thank you and bravo to Molly and the entire team - your care, commitment, and effort are truly making a difference in our community. You are amazing! πŸ’›
