Calling 000 can feel overwhelming β€” especially in an emergency.

One of the biggest things that helps emergency services respond quickly is staying as calm and clear as possible. You do not need to make a big speach.

☎️ Important things to tell the 000 operator:
βœ” Your exact location
βœ” What has happened
βœ” If the person is breathing or unconscious
βœ” The person’s age (approximate is okay)
βœ” Any immediate dangers nearby
βœ” What First Aid is being given

🚫 Don’t hang up until the operator tells you to.

Remember:
The operator will guide you through questions and help you step-by-step until help arrives.

You do not need to know everything β€” just tell them what you can see and what is happening. You Got This.......

What do I say to the ambulance people when they arrive??????

A lot of people panic when paramedics arrive and suddenly forget everything that happened.

The good news? Ambulance crews don’t expect perfection β€” but a calm, clear handover can make a huge difference.

🩺 Helpful things to tell the paramedics:
βœ” What happened
βœ” What time it happened
βœ” If the person lost consciousness
βœ” Any CPR or First Aid given
βœ” Changes in the person’s condition
βœ” Any medications, allergies, or medical conditions if known

Even simple information can help emergency crews continue care quickly and safely.

Remember:
You do not need to know everything. Just pass on what you saw and what you did.

That alone can be incredibly valuable.
