⚠️ Most caravanners on WA roads right now are breaking at least one of these rules. Not intentionally. They just don’t know.

A flat breakaway battery. Tyres that haven’t been checked since last season. Towing mirrors they didn’t realise were legally required. A van that’s been sitting in the driveway for six months with nobody checking the lights.

These aren’t grey areas. They are defectable offences — fines, demerit points and in some cases a voided insurance policy in the event of an accident.

Today we celebrated an icon in the WA Caravan industry. Lu (white cardi) has been with RV Solutions as an anchor for so long that it’s been difficult for everyone on the team saying goodbye to such a wonderful, caring and hilarious mother figure to a lot of us. Lu knows pretty much anything you could ever hope to know about caravans and the industry itself. She has friends from all over the country and could give you detailed advice about any trip you intend to take around Australia. It’s a happy yet sad day for us to say goodbye to Lu - sad because we’ll miss her but happy that she’ll get to relax in retirement and spend more time with her grandkids and husband. If you know Lu or worked with her in the past we’d love it if you could drop a comment for her congratulating her on her retirement!

We all love and will miss you Lu!
