Deb Hamblin Rockingham is my Reason.

I was elected by the community in 2021 as the first popularly elected Mayor after contributing many years as a Councillor, including 8yrs as Deputy Mayor.

I am a passionate advocate for our wonderful city, Rockingham. Welcome to my page. I’m using social media to share news, events and information with our community. However, in order to run such a platform, having an understanding of what is expected from both the administrators and the users of the page is best for all parties concerned. Had the pleasure of attending and judging the Ignite Expo at Kolbe Catholic College. Year 7 were asked to find solutions for many community issues .. greening our environment, youth mental health and much more. Well done on all the presentations

Another great event organised by Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce.The Defence Industry Business Forum gave local businesses so much information regarding defence opportunities. Great to see Captain Burleigh and our South Metropolitan Tafe staff there too

The Indian Ocean Defence and Security Conference brought together leaders in Defence, Government and Education to highlight the importance of national security. From a Rockingham perspective so good to know about the impact of AUKUS. Great to catch up with the staff from the Alliance too
